Why in Israel there is (almost) no statute of limitation on traffic fines
In Israel, the statute of limitation on traffic fines is 10 years, Section 62 of the Israeli traffic law is interpreted by state authorities that way no matter what kind of traffic violation the driver did (accidently kill someone or drove his bicycle with no bell). In this article we will introduce the reader how true interpretation of Article 62 leads to a clear conclusion that the statute of limitations on most traffic fines is 3 years not 10. Unfortunately, the Israeli courts (Magistrates Court and the District Court, the matter had not yet discussed by the Israeli Supreme Court).
